Return Policy 

  • All current return policy guidelines and conditions apply.
  • Returns and exchanges will be accepted on eligible products in new condition, with your original receipt, and any tags within 14 days of purchase.
  • Digital books or photocopiable licenses are not returnable nor refundable.

 
Shipping order returns:
We are unable to provide pre-paid return shipping labels or cover return shipping costs.
To begin the return process email [email protected] with your web order number (eg. #01234567) and indicate which product(s) you intend to return and why.
 
We reserve the right to refuse any return.
Non-Returnable Items

  • Some items are non-returnable: digital books, access codes, photocopiable licenses, and any other products that are digitally delivered.
  • Exchange only on sale merchandise.


Method of Refund

  • Please note that if you paid by credit or debit card, a refund will be issued by the same method with the original card.
  • Purchases made by cheque will be refunded in cash or by cheque at our discretion.

 
Terms of Sale
Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. While we take great care to ensure that information on our site is accurate, mistakes may occur. When a mistake is noticed we will correct it as soon as possible and will notify customers who are affected.
We reserve the right to cancel, terminate or not to process orders (including accepted orders) where the price or other material information on this site is inaccurate.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if there is not enough inventory of an item to complete your order (or if an item is no longer available). If we cancel or do not process an order for such reason(s), we will advise you that the order has been cancelled and will either not charge you or will apply a credit to the payment type used in the order.
All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Digital Book and License Terms

The terms are different based on your license type (general ebook or photocopiable ebook)

General Digital License Terms

This paragraph is applicable to General Digital Licenses that are not marked as “Photocopiable”:

  • Each Distribution License only allows 1 copy of electronic distribution. Photocopy or any printed redistribution is prohibited.
  • For example, If you wish to send 5 digital copies to 5 readers, you must purchase 5 Distribution Licenses.
  • All YMHC content is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed, whether in print or electronic form, without a proper Distribution License from YMHC.
  • Electronic copies of content may not be posted on, or distributed by, third-party course providers, content aggregators/distributors, or any platforms.
  • We do not grant permission for any adaptation, edit, excerpt or summary of any products.
  • We do not issue refunds for digital products once the order is confirmed and the product is sent.


Photocopiable Digital License Terms

This paragraph is applicable to Photocopiable Licenses:

  • Photocopy permission for a single purchasing school/address – Photocopies are for elementary or secondary school staff at the purchasing address. If you have 5 addresses, you’ll need to buy 5 books.
  • We do not give permission for school boards to service more than one school from a single book.
  • We do not give permission for anyone to photocopy from a photocopy of the books.
  • Electronic copies of content may not be posted on, or distributed by, third-party course providers, content aggregators/distributors, or any platforms.
  • We do not grant permission for any adaptation, edit, excerpt or summary of any products.
  • We do not issue refunds for digital products once the order is confirmed and the product is sent.
